A DREAM IN A FIELD

A Dream is a cooled tone landscape drawing referenced from a photo. The cool colors and general fuzziness of the drawing is meant to resemble the way dreams tend to feel after you wake up. Dreams often feels blurry, like you remember certain things but can't recall them in detail, it all ends up being a feeling than an actual event. Similarly, A Dream evokes the feelings of this place being a manifestation of a calm and delirious emotion rather than a real place. The photo I used as reference had a lot more detail, but to get the dream like quality across, those details were simplified into a representation of something rather than that actual thing. The blue color palette adds to a sense of wonder and calm, yet also melancholy.
