DUNKIN DONUTS AD CAMPAIGN
Prompt: Redesign a Dunkin Donuts ad to make it more accessible.
Notice: This project is not part of Dunkin Donut's brand design and is purely for a design exercise.
PROCESS
I took an old Dunkin Donuts ad that had issues with accessibility, and transformed it into an ad campaign. The main issues with the ad were the handwriting-esque typeface with random capital letters, the overlap of the writing with the pictorial elements, and the tight circular pattern. These elements make the ad hard to read, and the circular pattern is specifically hard on those with photo sensitive epilepsy.
For my ad, I wanted to make sure these elements were fixed, but still in line with Dunkin Donuts branding. I used the modern day typeface Dunkin uses and their branding colors. I removed the tight circular pattern and made it general color patches to keep the bi-color background, but make it easier on the eyes.
These changes were all in service to making the ad more accessible, and also make it match the modern design trends of Dunkin Donuts.
