GARGOYLE

These images were part of a color study, this one focusing on what a black and white color scheme adds to an image. I was inspired by the age of black and white horror films such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and Creature from the Black Lagoon. The doll featured here is Vampire Heart Draculaura by Mattel from Monster high, and she sits next to her guardian protector, the Gargoyle. They watch over the village their castle rises over, the stark contrast between the vampires skin and her dress immediately catching the eye, before bringing brought up to the details and vast shades of gray seen on the gargoyle.
