THE THEATER
These photos are part of a larger story called the reality bends, what happens when a ghost becomes attached to an item or place.
To get the ghostly feel of the photos, I set the camera to a slow shutter speed, and while it was taking the picture, I moved my hands and head rapidly to make sure it would be blurry. The blurry face and other aspects of ghostly visages help to make the photos more uncanny, matching the ghostly vision of the story. Against the static background, the rapidly moving ghost stands out.

Right before the colleges big winter show, the star of the show had died. The following day, when techies came in to help finish the sets, they saw something they didn't expect, their star was on stage, performing as if nothing happened. What they were seeing was a ghost, a reality bend, showing the star's last moments before she died. A team set up a camera and had it going an entire night to capture the performance. These photos are just a glimpse of what it captured over those 9 hours.
